This elegant, bespoke balustrade was created using turned bright steel that was chemically treated to give a black/blue effect. Bronze turnings were used for mid detail and base cover. These were polished before renaissance wax was applied to all metalwork in order that the lustre and shine should be retained. The handrail is hand carved from walnut and polished.
